School Action
Pravah’s school programs, works with with the age group of 13-17 years to inspire them towards active citizenship. This is done either through direction interventions or through training of teachers in schools.
FMTW (From Me to We) builds life skills in adolescents and equips them with the skills to become active citizens. Comprising of a curriculum on active citizenship and an action project, FMTW is delivered through workshops in schools.
FUN (Friendship Udankhatola) Camp takes urban adolescents to live in a village for a week. Here, they interact with communities and gain exposure to local development issues while they break stereotypes and learn to appreciate diversity. The Return FUN camp creates similar opportunities for rural adolescents.
The team is currently working on implementing certain sections of the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), which is the new grading system for scholastic and co-scholastic curriculum introduced by C.B.S.E in 2009. Pravah has experience of working with young people for almost two decades and has come up with modules for the following:
- Work experience – Part 1 (b) of the assessment division given in CCE. This workshop covers three major aspects:
- Understanding Self
- Understanding Diversity
- Understanding Social issues through Action Project
This module covers the work experience attributes mentioned in CCE such as Work Ethics, Taking Initiative, Cooperation, Responsibility, Thinking out of the Box etc.

- Understanding Self
- Understanding Life Skills
- Action Project
